Storm has been sworn in!

On Wednesday, June 29, 2011, Storm Bennett was appointed and sworn in as an active member of the Anderson Foundation for Parks and Recreation Board.  “Storm’s infectious personality and local celebrity status will bring a lot to the table as we grow the Foundation.” -Dale Bartholomew, President of the Anderson Township Park Board. The Anderson Foundation for Parks and Recreation, the fundraising arm of the Anderson Township Park District, was first formed in 1991 to fund projects that the tax base and revenue generation could not accommodate.

The mission of the Foundation is to provide funding to perpetuate parks and recreation in Anderson Township. The Foundation has a long history of contributions to the Park District such as the Juilfs Park office addition and tennis courts, the Kellogg Park concession/restroom building, and the Beech Acres Park All-Children’s Playground.
